John R. Smith has 39 years of experience in the skilled metal trades, primarily in the boilermaker trade and gas turbines. With background encompassing numerous projects involving power projects, heavy rigging, structural steel erection, heat transfer equipment and appurtenant piping, for refineries and petrochemical plants. Also has extensive background in turnaround and shutdown work.

Synopsis

Responsible for direct supervision of all direct hire labor. Ensured that all work is performed in high quality, cost-efficient manner and if conformance with the project’s schedule. Duties include estimating the projects, reviewing requirements for manpower, tools, equipment and material. Manage daily project operations and implemented field operating procedures for labor productivity, cost control, and planning and scheduling.
